Here's the recipe for 2 waffles
The Batter:
- 1 cup of Kodiak Cakes powder
- 1 cup of water
- 1 Tbs. of garlic powder
- 1 Tbs. onion powder
- Dash of black pepper
- A squirt of sugar free maple syrup
Mix the waffle batter and water together, add spices to the batter mix together then grill on waffle iron. Look at that perfect golden crispy waffle!
The Toppings:
- 2 grilled chicken breasts halved and marinated in a light Italian dressing
- 4 slices of turkey bacon
- 1 cup of chopped lettuce
- 1/2 cup of chopped tomatoes
- Drizzle of greek yogurt ranch (just mix plain greek yogurt and ranch seasoning)
You can eat the waffle two ways, like Brady sandwich style pictured above. Or like Kassia opened faced, either way it is delicious and a great way to trick yourself into eating healthy.
